New York Patient Gets Whiter Smile with Veneers

This patient presented with 30 year old crowns and a gummy smile that bothered her. Multidisciplinary case with our periodontist and endodontist to complete 28 porcelain restorations (crowns and veneers). Our endodontist redid all of her old root canals and our gum specialist performed a gum lift. This is where health and beauty merge. By replacing old subgingival metal crowns and clearing up decay and infections we were able restore youth and beauty to this smile. Health = beauty. By bringing up gum levels we changed the proportions of her smile (she now shows lower teeth) and face. This is what we call dentofacial aesthetics and anti-aging dentistry.
