Turn back the clock from the inside out.
A dental facelift, also called an anti-aging dentofacial lift or “facelift dentistry,” is a non-surgical approach to facial rejuvenation that works on the framework beneath the skin: your teeth and bite. Over a lifetime, grinding, clenching, and acid erosion shorten the teeth by several millimeters. The jaw closes further than it once did, the distance between nose and chin shrinks, the lips thin and turn inward, and lines deepen around the mouth. Skin treatments alone cannot correct this because the support underneath is gone.
Dr. Veytsman restores that support. Using porcelain veneers and crowns designed to the original, youthful dimensions of the teeth, she rebuilds tooth height and reopens the bite to its proper vertical position. The result lifts the lower face, restores lip fullness and projection, softens nasolabial folds and marionette lines, and widens a smile that had become narrow and dark.
It is dentistry with the goals of a facelift, delivered in a few weeks with no incisions, no general anesthesia, and no recovery time, and it makes the teeth healthier and stronger at the same time.
The typical dental facelift patient is in their 40s to 70s and has noticed their smile getting shorter, their teeth showing less when they speak, or their lower face looking “collapsed” or heavier than it did. Many have been told they grind their teeth. Some have old crowns or worn veneers that have flattened over time. Others are considering surgical or injectable treatments and want to know whether the real issue is structural.
Dr. Veytsman evaluates the wear pattern of your teeth, the vertical dimension of your bite, your jaw joint health, and your facial proportions before recommending anything. When wear and bite collapse are the cause, a dental facelift produces changes that surgery and fillers cannot, because it treats the source.

By restoring tooth height and bite position, an anti-aging dentofacial lift can visibly improve:
The face looks rested and lifted, and the teeth look healthy, bright, and appropriately youthful, never overdone.

Because a dental facelift changes facial proportions, the preview matters more than in any other cosmetic procedure. Dr. Veytsman designs the restored smile digitally on images of your face, and then creates a trial smile, a temporary mock-up worn over your own teeth at the new height. You see and feel the change in your lips, your profile, and your bite before any tooth is prepared. The design is refined with you until it is right, and that exact design guides the ceramist.

Each dental facelift is a customized combination. Dr. Veytsman selects from these depending on how much height must be restored and the condition of the existing teeth.
The core of the lift. Custom porcelain restorations rebuild each worn tooth to its youthful length and shape, brighten the smile, and establish the new bite height. Veneers are used where enamel is sound; crowns where teeth are heavily worn or previously restored. See porcelain veneers and porcelain crowns.
The precise reopening of the bite to restore the distance between nose and chin. Dr. Veytsman tests the new height with temporaries first so the jaw joints and muscles adapt comfortably before the final porcelain is made.
Where skin laxity or volume loss remains after the structural lift, Botox, dermal fillers, and lip enhancement are performed in our studio to complete the result. Because the foundation has been rebuilt, far less product is typically needed.

The most convincing anti-aging results return a face to its own younger proportions. Dr. Veytsman’s approach is guided by:
The goal is not a new face. The goal is your face, rested and restored.

A detailed conversation about the changes you have noticed, followed by a full exam of the teeth, gums, bite, and jaw joints, and photographs and video of your face at rest and in motion. Out-of-town patients often begin with an online consultation.
If your gums or bone need treatment, that is completed before any cosmetic work begins.
Dr. Veytsman designs the restored smile digitally and determines the exact vertical dimension that lifts the face while keeping the bite comfortable. The design is reviewed with you on screen.
Dr. Veytsman studies your face shape, your features and how many teeth show when you smile and speak, then plans the fewest restorations that will achieve the change you want.
Handcrafted veneers and crowns are tried in, approved, and bonded. The bite is balanced, your smile is photographed, and a follow-up visit confirms comfort. A night guard protects the restorations from grinding.
In New York, your restorations are layered by hand in feldspathic porcelain at Jason J. Kim Lab, and nothing is bonded permanently until you and Dr. Veytsman are both satisfied with how it looks.

A dental facelift at Cosmetic Dental Studios typically ranges from $20,000 to $65,000, depending on how many teeth must be restored, whether veneers or crowns are required, and how much bite height is rebuilt. A lift focused on the upper front teeth sits at the lower end; a full-mouth reconstruction with porcelain on both arches sits at the upper end. Because worn teeth and a collapsed bite are functional problems, the restorative portion of treatment is often partially covered by dental insurance, and our team will help you pursue that coverage. Financing is available through PatientFi and Cherry, and you will receive an itemized quote after your consultation and digital design.
Surgery repositions skin and fillers add volume on top, but neither replaces the tooth structure whose loss caused the lower face to shorten. A dental facelift rebuilds that foundation, so the lift is structural, comes with healthier teeth and a better bite, and involves no incisions or downtime.
Dr. Veytsman usually recommends starting with the teeth, because they are the foundation of the lower face; once that volume is rebuilt, any filler or facial surgery you still want can be far more conservative.
