Meet Dr. Veytsman

General and Cosmetic Dentist, Dr. Victoria Veytsman, leads Cosmetic Dental Studios in Manhattan, NY, where she has provided proactive and conservative preventative dental care since 2010. She believes a healthy mouth is the cornerstone of a beautiful smile for her patients of all ages. Dr. Veytsman is state licensed to practice dentistry in New York, and is certified by the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments (formerly known as The North East Regional Board). She is a very respected cosmetic dentist, and has become known for her smile makeovers performed as the official dentist to several prominent organizations, including Miss America and the New York Giants Cheerleaders. Dr. Veytsman has also been a featured smile expert in Haute MD, WebMD, Yahoo! Health, New Beauty, Latina Magazine, Brides, Social Life Magazine, the Huffington Post and Hamptons Magazine.

Merging health and beauty to make dentistry more fun, Dr. Veytsman hopes her patients look forward to their visit to her office. Her private practice is built upon a solid foundation of experience in general dentistry (dental examinations and cleanings), cosmetic (Invisalign®, veneers, and smile makeovers), and restorative dentistry (dental implants, crowns, and bridges) in a metal and mercury free practice for subtle smile transformations. Dr. Veytsman has become known for her artful cosmetic dentistry that transforms the smiles of New Yorkers, celebrities, and international patients. She has earned a notable reputation for creating beautiful smiles, following up with all patients, and performing general dental procedures with great care.

Education and Training

Dr. Veytsman began her dental education early at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, where she graduated cum laude from a 6-year program with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry. She continued her education by earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry as the school’s youngest graduate at age 22. While at NYU, Dr. Veytsman studied general dentistry and performed externships in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Mount Sinai, Bellevue, and Montefiore.

Dr. Veytsman worked diligently for a year as a General Practice Resident at Mount Sinai, St. Luke’s, and Roosevelt through the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she gained experience in operative dentistry, endodontics, periodontal surgery, oral surgery, fixed and removable dentistry with rotations in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, emergency medicine, and general anesthesia. This residency gave her valuable experience in the operating room treating pediatric and mentally disabled patients with general dentistry, observing and assisting in complex orthodontic and oral surgery cases, and treating in both clinic and emergency rooms (endodontic infections, lacerations, and facial trauma). Dr. Veytsman returned to NYU for their implant program, where she studied and practiced surgical and prosthetic treatments, case selections, and comprehensive treatment planning.

Continuing Education

To keep up with the newest advances in dentistry, Dr. Veytsman continues her education through dental seminars and workshops. These include programs in full-mouth rehabilitation at The Nash Institute, orthodontic continuum at Boston University Dental School, Invisalign® certification from Align Technology, implant surgery at Montefiore Medical Center Department of Dentistry, comprehensive aesthetics continuum and ultimate occlusion at The Hornbrook Group Advanced Clinical Education in Chicago, Lumineers® certification by Lumenis, and more.

Dr. Veytsman's niche in cosmetic dentistry has led her to create gorgeous smiles in New York, and around the world. She has been the official cosmetic dentist for:

Department of Biochemistry: Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Biosensors for Glutamate and Glutamine Analysis: Exploring the development of miniaturized enzyme electrodes as an avenue for in vivo measurement of metabolites.

As a native New Yorker, Dr. Veytsman believes strongly in giving back to her community.
